MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH IN HEALTH
ADMINISTRATION

The Arnold School
of Public Health Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program
emphasizes the management of public health agencies and public
sector health services. Courses will be offered primarily
using live, satellite television to designated viewing sites
throughout the state of South Carolina. However, several courses
will be delivered using videotape. Other forms of technology
will also be used (e-mail, discussion boards, class Listservs)
to enhance communication. |

Admissions Requirements |
|

|
|
|
|
For admission to The
Graduate School, a baccalaureate or higher degree from a college
or university accredited by a regional accrediting agency is
normally required. Applicants
must have earned a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regional
accrediting agency. Applicants should submit a complete application
packet including official transcripts of college academic work,
letters of recommendation, and official score on the Graduate
Management Admission Test (GMAT), Medical College Admissions
Test (MCAT) or the Dental Admission Test (DAT).

Applicants with work experience of at least
three years, in or related to health care, receive preference
in admissions. |
