In order to register for a course,
you must be fully admitted to the University as either a degree
or non-degree candidate. If you wish to apply to the Graduate
School, go to our application
page. Once you receive notification that you have
been admitted to The Graduate School, you can register for
courses.

Have
your Social Security Number ready. |

|
Have
your PIN number ready. The PIN number for the registration
process is different from that used in the application
process. The first time you access the VIP system, your
PIN number will be the month and day of your birthday (for
example 0820 for August 20). You should change this number
after you access VIP for the first time. If you forget
your PIN, call the Office of the Registrar at 777-5555. |

Have
the section code of the course you want to take ready. If
this is a regular course, the section code will be
published on the Registrar
web page. If
this is a contract course, then the section code has been
provided by your local EC office. |

|
Enter
the VIP
system using your Social Security Number and PIN to login.
Once you see your information, access the academic section
to register for your classes. |
