In order to register for a course,
you must be fully admitted to the University as either a degree
or non-degree candidate. If you wish to apply to the Graduate
School, go to our application
page. Once you receive notification that you have
been admitted to The Graduate School, you can register for
courses.

Have
your Social Security number ready. |

Have
your Personal Identification Number (PIN) ready. The PIN for the registration
process is different from that used in the application
process. The Registrar's VIP PIN Information page has everything you need to know, whether you are a first-time user or have forgotten your PIN. |

Have
the schedule code for the course you want to take ready. If
this is a regular course, the schedule code will be
published on the Registrar's Master Schedule of Classes. If you are taking a course offered through Distributed Learning (it will have a "J" prefix, as in EDLP J 601), the schedule codes are available through links at the Registrar's site or at the Distributed Learning Course Guide. |

Enter
the VIP
system using your Social Security number or your VIP ID (if you know that number) and PIN to login.
Once you see your information, access the academic section
to register for your classes. |
